Cold Process Soap
Earth Berry Apothecary Homepage |
Welcome to The Perfect Bath! If this is your first time viewing this blog, let us be the first to greet you to the wonderful world of cold process soaps. There is much to learn about soap-making and if you would like to try some homemade products, Earth Berry Apothecary is a great place to start.
Earth Berry Apothecary is a small business located in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. It was founded by a small family who began by making homemade soaps and candles in their kitchen. Now they have grown into a successful local business and their products are readily available to the public through online sales.
There are dozens of scents to choose from, but we will choose a few of our most popular soaps for this post in hopes of describing for you what you will experience with each individual product.
Ambrosia Cold Process Soap |
Ambrosia is a scent that was developed out of an inspiration from Greek mythology. It was thought to be the sacred food of the gods and that is just what we had in mind after many times refining this aroma. It came during a relaxing bath when we discovered the scent we had been using for a bath bomb would be perfect for this soap and ever since then it has been one of our top sellers.
Exfoliating Coffee Cold Process Soap |
Coffee soap almost sounds like something made of dreams, that is, if you are a serious coffee fan like we are. It seemed like a bold move to incorporate such a specific scent into a bar of soap, but we insisted it would spark your senses and that's exactly what this product does.
It brings us a great feeling of joy to watch people get excited about this soap when they smell it in person. It's great on the skin too and doesn't leave you smelling like coffee but rather the richness of something that feels like an endless morning curled up on the couch.
Juniper Woods Cold Process Soap |
We used to live on an island in the Caribbean. It was magical and we feel the sea breeze on our bodies every time we use this soap. It's such a great product and it makes us miss our island home very much!
